ARGENTINA There will be an informational night for this summers trip to Argentina in the Kennard-Dale High School Library at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29. The trip is be sponsored by the KDHS Travelers and Spanish students and will be lead by Mrs. Karen Snyder and myself. Some of the highlights of the tour is going to Buenos Aires, taking tango lessons, enjoying a boat ride in an ecological preserve, taking a ferry to Uruguay, participating in a traditional Fiesta Gaucha, travel to Brazil to see tropical forest wildlife and one of the worlds most beautiful falls, and seeing the worlds largest hydroelectric plant. In addition to hearing about the trip details, we will be hearing from a South Eastern Students experiences when she lived in Argentina last year. The trip is open to anyone - parents, teachers, students, and community members. If you cant make the meeting and would like to get more information, just let me know. NYC The Drama Club is sponsoring a trip to New York City on April 11th. Tickets are available to see the Broadway show Matilda. The cost is $180.00, which includes the transportation, front mezzanine seating show tickets, and gratuities. There are also tickets available to go to NYC without going to the show. The cost for that is $75.00. A $30.00 deposit is due before Oct. 10th and is filled on a 1st come 1st served basis. Just let me know if you want more information.
