ARISEKOLAS SON, ALHAJI UMAR FAROUK ARISEKOLA ALAO DECLARES PUBLIC OF INTEREST AS HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ASPIRANT. Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Alhaji Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao has declared his intention to vie for a seat at the Federal House of Representative to represent the Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Oyo State in 2015 election. Alhaji Alao made this known on Wednesday at a political rally and state meeting held at Oke Apon, Total Garden Ibadan. The All Progressive Congress (APC) aspirant seek the partys ticket to the Federal House after his supporters within the party persuaded him to do so, adding that his straightforward approach to issues was a factor that influenced their choice. He said I would not have come out to declare this interest if my people did not support me, they were the pillars behind this declaration and ambition. I must thank the State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi for giving me the opportunity to show what i can do as a young administrator. Nigerian youth are dedicated, loyal to the nation and have great hope for this nation. Some of the areas Alhaji Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao touched were: Gate, Oja Oba, Bere, Oje, Total Garden, Sabo, Mokola, Bashorun, Idi Ape, Ikolaba among others. Meanwhile, Alhaji Alao appreciated people of his constituency and people from his local government for trooping en masse for the rally saying I was overwhelmed by the large turnout of people at the rally and i promise not to disappoint you all.
