ARMY PREVENT SPREADING OF FIRE IN FOREST AT HUNGA, BHADARWAH Jammu : 30 Dec 2014 On 29 December 2014 at approximately 1600 hours, it was reported to the Rashtriya Rifles, located at Bhadarwah, by forest Ranger that a fire has taken place in the forest near village Hanga, Bhadarwah. Without any delay, a fire fighting team under a Junior Commissined Officer rushed to the incident site alongwith fire fighting equipment to extinguish the fire and carried out necessary action alongwith the forest department and locals. After relentless efforts of three hours, the fire fighting team succeeded in controlling the fire and completely extinguished it by 2100 hours. This act of human service and concern of Army was highly appreciated by the locals of the area. The villagers and fire department were very grateful to Indian Army for their help at the time of necessity
