WHY BABU OWINO IS THE STUDENTS PROJECT. 1.He has been a frontrunner for championing students rights. 2.He ensured that the budgetary allocation for the fiscal yr.2010/2011 in SONU was raised by double digits for more students to get bursaries n to make students entertainment industry more lucrative. 3.He ensured that baseless suspension was a forgone activity during his first term in SONU office. 4.Bursaries were being given to students so long as you could show through substantial authenticated documents that u r needy during his tenure. 5.He diplomatically n literally convinced the HELB(Higher education loan board) to increase the higher education fundings to all kenya university students inoder to counteract the higher living standards n double inflation. 6.He managed to contain the sky-rocketing insecurity that saw increased no.of missing students in the university when he was in the office n after leaving the office. 7.He exuded confidence n charisma in leadership during his first term in the office even after being discussed in perliament as a bill brought to the house by KAKAMEGA SENATOR BONNY KHALWALE in the 49th kenyan perliament simply for the sake of comrades. 8.He proved to be a wise king n a leader after walking out with a first class honour in ACTURIAL SCIENCE,the highly rated bachelor in the fuculty of mathematics n universities ratings. 9.He mentored youths like philbert kongolla,Edith mwirigi,wakoli kunani,Aquinas n others into students politics without a pay or charge. 10.He was,he is, a leader of immense city networking capable of dilivering attachments,part time jobs,long-term enployments,creative n innovative ideas to our graduates.
