ATTENTION ALL FELINE GUARDIANS: Cats are obligate meat eating carnivores. As such they do best on an all wet food or meat based diet. Most dry kibbles are loaded with carbohydrates. Just as processed carbohydrates are awful for human health, they are even more detrimental to a carnivores health. My traditional veterinary colleagues have acknowledged the link between all dry food diets and obesity, diabetes, and feline lower urinary tract disease. So the million dollar question, is why start out by feeding these foods to ANY cats?
