ATTENTION NEIGHBORS>>>Do you have a love one who has served or is serving in the United States Armed Forces? Would you like to honor them? If so, we have the perfect opportunity. We are having an upcoming fundraiser for Honor Flight called Night of Honor. We have created a Night of Honor Garden Walk. It is designed to honor those that serve or have served in our Armed Forces. Two hundred Luminary bags will be strategically placed in the garden of the Palmetto Club and illuminated just before sundown. Information about your loved one will be placed on to the Luminary bag for visitors to view. Honorees will include anyone who has honorably served in a branch of our Armed Forces. Honoree can be someone who has completed his or her service, are currently serving, retired, or a memorial for someone who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Luminary Chairperson is Stacy D. Lowe. Deadline for entry is September 11, 2014. Forms should be returned to kelly@friendsoffishhawk or can be dropped off with payment at What’s in Store (Winn Dixie Plaza). The amount to include your loved one in this Honor Walk is $5.00 per luminary bag. We accept cash, check, or credit cards. Please make checks payable to Friends of Fishhawk and note Night of Honor in the note section.
