AUDITIONS! ATW is casting amateur actors for the development of “The Spider, The Elephant & Me,” a theatre piece using puppets and performance art to explore major character elements in Ghanaian folklore. “Spider” will be performed at the 2013 Chalewote Festival in Jamestown on September 7th 2013. Auditions & Rehearsal Information: Auditions are Saturday August 3rd 2013 at Accra Theatre Workshop offices in Tesano (behind Tesano Papaye) and Sunday August 4th 2013 at the Jamestown Community Theatre in the GAMADA compound from 2-5pm each day. Please prepare a one minute monologue and come prepared for movement. Actors must be based in the Accra metropolis and must be available for all rehearsals. Rehearsals will be split between ATW offices in Tesano and the Jamestown Community Theatre, and will be at least twice a week during the month of August. Rehearsals will be every day during tech week (September 1-6).
