AUTOMATIC WRITING INSTRUCTIONS The following simple technique is how I learned to successfully connect with my own Higher Self or Guidance. Using this will allow you to connect correctly, the first time and every time that fear does not get in the way: It is called the Dear One technique. First, I would suggest going to a quiet area where you can sit comfortably in a relaxed state, somewhere where you wont be disturbed. Begin by repeating this statement 3 times, I am now receiving what is for my highest good from the highest possible source. Breathe and be present in the here and now so that you are grounded. Then, either on paper or on the computer write, Dear One,. Whomever your guidance comes from is referring to you as the Dear One. From there, begin writing whatever message comes through you however you receive it. Do not stop and judge the message, and do not try to edit or spell correctly or anything. This is the other half of the mind (the analytical side) trying to be in control. All that can be done when you are finished. Keep writing whatever you are getting and do not stop until your Guidance stops. You may need to start out with a question like, The most important thing for me to know right now is?, to get you started. Your mind may try to get in the way or you may get flustered. Do not think about things. Do not question. Do not wonder if you are doing it right. The best motto for this is Just do it. If something happens to stop you, just start over again by writing Dear One, and then continue. When you are finished, you may receive a closing such as With Great Love and then receive the name of the Being or Beings you are talking with. I recommend that you practice this technique at least every day for a week or two. To strengthen your own innate talents of receiving information make a practice of asking your Guidance for an answer whenever you have a decision to make throughout the day, ie, Should I wear blue or green today? Should I go this way or that way to work? Should I have the chicken or the hamburger? This will make you more comfortable with the whole process and allow you to receive more easily and freely. If you can even get just a yes or no answer to such questions, with time, you will be able to deal with any situation that confronts you by simply asking Guidance. Constant practice builds the ability to receive in whatever way works best for you. Some people find that they are clairvoyant or they see the answers, some are clairaudiance or they hear the answers, and some are clairsentience or they feel or just know the answers. The more you practice the more you will learn to trust. You will come to know when you are truly connected with Guidance by how it feels. Your Guidance will never ask you to do anything that will harm you or anyone else. When they are talking with you it should feel loving. If it doesnt feel right to you then challenge whatever you are getting by commanding THREE times In the name of the Highest, is what I am getting correct? Or you can command to know the name of who you are talking to. Always COMMAND that only those who are for your highest good and those who serve the Highest be allowed to flow through you. You may receive messages from your Higher Self, your direct connection to the Creator, or it may be your Guides or Angels.
