AWESOME! 1500+ disciples of Acharya M.R.Rajesh, comprising of people from varying domains ranging from Fishermen & Laborers to Doctor’s and Engineer’s, who irrespective of their caste, creed, gender or religion performed Vedic Agnihotra. They performed this yajna using the Veda Mantras learned by them in the classes for learning Vedas being conducted by Kasyapa Veda Research Foundation for the past 10 years under the supervision of Acharya M.R.Rajesh. During this blessed event Acharya M.R.Rajesh in his speech said, “This event is a declaration to the world that VEDAS can be taught irrespective of caste, creed, gender or religion. It is an occasion which successfully achieves what social reformers like Chattambi Swamikal, Sree Narayana Gurudevan, Ayyangali etc wished to achieve. This achievement is the result of a tree (a desire to teach VEDAS irrespective of Caste, Creed or Gender) planted 15 years before which has given birth to 1500+ fruits now. Wish that all performers of today, spread the sweetness they receive from practicing Agnihotra to the whole society. Everybody should be able to remain continuously happy. When enquired with people who ran about all their life to achieve big jobs, business etc as to whether they are always happy, the answer was in the negative. They all were happy only occasionally. A person becomes sad when contradictions increase in him. When the things inside is different from what is outside i.e. when the things you desire from inside is different from what you achieve outside, you feel sadness. If a person wants to enjoy his life with his family he has to first like his mind and himself. There should be a harmony between a person, his mind, the society he lives in and should be able to stay alongside with nature. When we look to nature, we can understand why each component is present in it. Same way try to find out why I am here. All items in nature have a “Dharma”. Try to understand your Dharma in this world and fulfill it. Yajna’s and Yaga’s are meant to make us aware of “Shradha” i.e. care. Even the small small events in this nature has a “Thalam” i.e. balance. Yajna’s and Yaga’s help us understand our role in it. All Kriya’s also have balance. The “Shradha” i.e. care we apply to understand our role in the kriya is called Yajna. Yajna comprise not only of Material Kriya’s i.e. creating fire & putting things into it. SOMAYAGA is a drama which attracts our attention to the process of creation of nature, society, family and ourself. It is not related to creation of rain. Rain may or may not happen during SOMAYAGA. SOMAYAGA is a display of the “thala” or balance in the creation process. How earth was formed, How it solidified from the liquid state, It’s transformation into soft soil and various metals, Formation of all flora and Fauna, Creation of fire – all these are displayed in the form of a Drama in SOMAYAGAM. We are performing the “AGNISHTOMA SOMAYAGAM” from the 13th to 19th February 2014. Along with the Yagam a National Vedic Seminar and Vedic Exhibition also will be conducted. There will be arrangements to study the process of SOMAYAGAM and to document the same on the part of Kasyapaashramam since this branch of knowledge slowly disappearing from this world.” https://youtube/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=z7V0QHCkJnU
