About this time last year my mom called and I was told my dad had passed away. I was in the rocky mountains, barely any phone service, hours away from the hustle and bustle of normal. In that darling cabin retreat from normalcy, my life changed forever, in every aspect. Not a day goes by that I dont rehash what happened or the shoulda, woulda, couldas... This past year has been full of lessons, growing up, moving on and letting go. Thank you to my family and friends who have listened, cried with me, hugged me, sent me encouraging messages, dragged me out into socializing again and just stayed by my side.
