Absentee Voter Deadlines* Voter Registration Deadline: October 14, 2014 Absentee by Mail Deadline: October 28, 2014 No later than 5:00 p.m. at your registrar’s office Absentee In Person Deadline: November 1, 2014 Before your registrar’s office closing Absentee Ballot Return Deadline: 7:00 p.m. November 4, 2014 Return the completed form to your local registrar’s office sbe.virginia.gov If you are traveling on Election Day (Nov. 4th), working outside the city or county where you vote, or working and commuting for 11 or more hours between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. within the locality where you vote, then voting absentee is the best way to make sure your vote is counted. And best way for college students to vote that are away.
