The play your auditioning for is called SKEEN! and is about 5 youths in their school putting on their own end-of-term production based on an internet "sket" story. The director has set it to be the wildest, grittiest play ever- this is met with disastrous results! Throughout the play, the characters will re-examine what it is to be young in London, how they represent themselves and if they have the power to change that. SKEEN! We are to stage the production between the 27-29th November 2013 at the Lost Theatre in Stockwell. Rehearsals are to be: Every Weekend, 10-4, starting from 19th October (excluding 3rd & 4th Nov) One Evening a week, either Wednesday or Thursday , times TBC 28th-2 Nov, 10-4 (Note: No weekend rehearsals that week) Every Evening from the 25th Nov onwards Location is still TBC Now on to what we need from you: 1. We first need you to re-confirm how you are linked to Lambeth. Do you: Live there ? Work there ? Study there ? We need to confirm you will be free for either an Morning or Afternoon Workshop Audition on the 13th October. Times are: 11am-1:30pm 2pm-4:30pm 3. We need you to send us a headshot/clear picture of just your face and a link to a video of you acting a short monologue on Youtube by the 10th October. The pic and video does not have to be fantastic quality. We just need to clearly see and hear you. This can even be done on a mobile phone or webcam and if you already have a past video of you doing a monologue just send us the link to that ! This is to ensure we choose based on passion and potential, rather than CVs to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity. From this we will decide if you move on to the next stage.
