Adam, I hadnt noticed: youve got a page on bandcamp! Its tough, keeping up. What a fate; too many interesting sounds. The interconnectedness of the net: is it a seductive extractor of all ones time, or necessary to keep one from falling out of touch? Yes. Recently I stumbled onto Experimedia, probably in a Google result for a CD I couldnt resist. From there, I found out about the labels Install and Twice Removed. My iTunes library broke 1400 titles, today. (My entire collection on physical media? Dont ask.) Similarly, because Francisco Lopez had an Elevator Bath release? That led me to hearing your music, and I think it was my first exposure to Keith Berry also. Still go to record stores, but not often. Not only because it makes me feel old. No, because Id rather buy directly from the artist or label: and if any store maintained a stock which appeals to all of my interests, they wouldnt last long. Still the occasional forays into rock, but as I approach that fifth decade? Its all become drones: one sort or another. Electroacoustic, field recordings, Eliane Radigue & Pauline Oliveros et al, Colin Potter & Paul Bradley and everyone they know. Oh, and Kranky. Well not much anymore except Windy & Carl. Ultimately, the need for surprise keeps me going. Not to mention the fear of missing out on something great.
