This is an exciting opportunity for a Buyer who wishes to accelerate their career within the industry. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in a company that is a market leader within their industry. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Accessing the needs of the company’s’ customers, organising, meeting and negotiating with suppliers from all around the world. Planning marketing activities and deciding on in-store stock displays. The successful candidates will have overall responsibility for the products in their assigned departments, from buying to sales performance to after-sales services. Skills and Qualifications: • Have 5+ of years in a retail buying environment with proven success • Be highly motivated and ambitious, a self starter with a can do attitude • Strong organisational and administrative skills • Strong negotiating skills • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel • Ability to multitask and prioritize • Excellent verbal, written, communication /interpersonal skills • Be highly numerate and process focused • A 2.1 degree in Business or a related field would be desirable • Good attention to detail skills Ability to work to deadline and under pressure Email c.v to: [email protected]
