Adios friends, it has been an interesting 5 month visit. I have learned so much from observing the way you all interact with one another. Ellen Voie has set the standard in how a website should be directed and managed by very shrewd and competent managers and administrators. Quick to root out, and boot out if necessary, those who clearly show evidence for disruption. Keep it up be strong and continue your path for a larger share in the industry. I wish I could be as resolute............. It appears my short lived trainer/ instructor profession is ending. Without upsetting the apple cart, and revealing to much information, I should decode this using illustrations. My hard work and passion for new students, and training them through mutual respect and my experience, and hard work in the field, has made corporate stand up and give applause. As foolish as it sounds, they are not aware of who I am or what I had set out in doing. Let me say this, when I started just 7 months ago August 1st, the numbers were very low, serious problems in attitudes and a lethargic upper office. I was never accusatory towards others, (just two trainers....small school.) And the same two saw me as a thorn in their side. Status quotient was being challenged, with no words being uttered towards them. I shared information with them in the form of blogs or articles that I had written, and kept my students close by and engaged. Let me say this as well. I have been starving since working here, hired at part time, and I would be embarrassed to reveal my wages. I was convinced that through a turnaround where grades, morale, and training, and final dmv numbers and students working, would surely raise my worth in the owners eye. Like I said, they were hands off, I was a part time employee. All communication was done only through mgmt, and the full time, master trainer, instructor; who actually scared students and the 3 women who was stuck with him for 2 months, 10hours a day. I will say this that me and this old timer, I had plenty of choice words that were always well reasoned and seasoned to get his attention as to why our pass and fail rate was largely his students. Another reason why I thought corporate would see the proof in the pudding. After I could not remain silent anymore. I introduced myself over the phone to the powers that be, and asked them,since it must be clear to them, of my dedication to excellence and hard work.......................I was cut off by them stating that the financial turnaround still has not reached where they want be.....blah, blah, blah. It is over. My old company is waiting on me again, yes back on the road again, for now. i can certainly use the added income. I will create within myself, my next challenge. This is for the industry !! This is for the bigger picture. And it is in my opinion, that more people need to learn how to create change! Goodbye for now!
