Adjusting to college can be a difficult task. To help ease the transition, Provost Dr. Thea Harrington will host two academic orientations on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26 from 8:30-11:45 a.m. in Brooks Theatre for first-year students. First-year students with majors in Fine Arts, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences will meet on Monday, August 25. First-year students with majors in Business, Management, and Technology; Communication Arts and Humanities; and Education will meet on Tuesday, August 26. As a result, classes for ALL students will be cancelled until noon on both days (offices will operate on normal schedule). Questions? Contact Academic Affairs at 570-945-8515.
