Administrative Assistant - Trust Administration WesBanco Bank, Inc. - Wheeling, WV JOB SUMMARY: Key support position with strong computer, communication and organizational responsibilities. Relieves Trust Officer(s) of daily routine administrative duties as well as handles trust accounting system maintenance issues and maintenance projects. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Two year Associate degree from two-year college or technical school; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: Willingness to provide a level of service which will clearly differentiate us from our competitors. Where appropriate deal directly with customers and help meet their needs. Will be assigned full administrative responsibilities for selected accounts where appropriate. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Professional demeanor able to interact with both professionals and customers while maintaining confidentiality. Above average written and verbal communication skills. Must be willing to work as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle detail oriented work. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to type with speed and accuracy. Review mail and separate routine items. Handle routine bill payment and remittance set up for trust clients. Review Overdraft Report and coordinate maintenance with Trust Officer. Review daily account activity and coordinate questions with Trust Officer. Receive incoming phone calls, dealing with routine inquiries and recording details for use by Trust Officer in responding to client’s needs. Written correspondence coordination with Trust Officer. AddVantage Trust Accounting System maintenance items. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank’s policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner. Ability to work some Saturday mornings in tax season if necessary.
