Admins thought of the day: Its always a surprise to see just how two-faced some people on the internet can be. Then again, it shouldnt really come off as that big of a surprise, should it? After all, these are people you will never really meet face to face and only rarely, do you even get a glimpse of the actual person behind the account. This might actually give a person some sort of invincibility... or feeling somewhat invincible. After all, theres really no physical consequences for what actions we commit here. Statistically speaking, I doubt we would do half the things in real life without feeling some shame compared to all the things we do on roleplay accounts xDD. And so, sometimes, it gets dangerous. People start becoming menacing... mean...rude... insensitive (yup thats me right there), cruel... you name it. Im not really sure how to react with some of the things people tell me at times from multiple fandoms and whatnot about all this internet drama that had about as much of a lead as to how it started as the Incident on King Street (Boston Massacre for you people in the States). No one knows how it happened; how it started, only that both sides are angry with little hope of reconciliation. But sometimes, I think we all need to just take a deep breath and step back and assess what is going on. This is a community where we get people as young as 12 year old to people well into their adolescent years. There is bound to be a gap of maturity and its just something we either have to learn to ignore or step away from. Stress is not something fun to cope with, trust me. Fighting with friends you meet online can be just as heartbreaking as having a fight with a friend in real life. But I guess we often forget how difficult it is to read emotions based on text alone. Theres always room for misinterpretation when all your life, what communications youve had with people are through words typed on a keyboard alone. And sometimes, the misinterpretation leads to feeling such an excruciating amount of anger that it seems explanations will do little to ease what tensions it accidentally sparked. Well, this is just my thought of the evening before I retire. I hate you all and I hope you all die slow and painful deaths. Preferably something on the lines of being ripped to shreds by rabid animals. //Except my babu Tony of course > 3> Off to bed -totters away- //
