There is reported fire activity in the BERRYS CREEK area and the fire is currently spreading. 20-30 hay bails are on fire in a paddock near the corner of Dyalls Road and the Strzelecki Highway in Berrys Creek. The grass fire is approximately 5 hectares in size. There is currently no threat to you, but you should plan for what you will do if the situation changes. Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads. Travellers on the Strzelecki Highway should travel with caution. The next update is expected by 07/01/15 6:00 PM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: Review your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.
