After 8 years of hearing about Tingloy, Batangas from Diony Base Hipolito, we finally made it there! It was an extraordinary adventure w/ our beloved kids Diony & Luica Dacanay to Masasa Beach, Sombrero Island, & Sepoc Beach (very nice white sand here). We saw a lot of marine life, pushed a boat back to shore (bec I couldnt climb back on it 😛), climbed steep foot path, saw a couple of eagles, and rode through some rough waters. The boat ride from Tingloy to Anilao was scary though - small boat, big waves, strong wind, no life vests, sunset. We met coast guards who asked us if we saw the capsized boat (not very reassuring). It was very, very high risk. Once we reached UP, we went straight to UP Chapel to thank God for keeping us safe. Were alive! Grace Gregorio
