After 9 days of my calling, getting the runaround, and never getting any answers, the hospital FINALLY faxed information on my x-rays to my doctors office yesterday. I went in and paid my co-pay, only to be told there are no new injuries to my shoulder, just some scar tissue from an old injury. Got refill scrips for my maintenance meds plus one for the constant pain. Took them straight to the Kroger pharmacy to have them filled. They evidently had several ahead of me, so after we finished shopping I checked and they said it would be today before they were ready, but there was a problem with the new one for pain, and it was now after my doctors office hours, so that one would have to wait also. They called today and said my prescriptions were ready. When I got there they said - all except the one for pain (THE ONLY ONE I DESPERATELY NEED). They said there was a problem with it, and the doctor was not in the office today, so they will have to call tomorrow. I asked what the problem was and they said it was for too strong a dose! So now I have to wait yet another night to get this super med. Advil at two or three pills every three hours isnt cutting it, so I dont really think this new one will either. I really think its nerve damage, but since, after all the problems I had getting the info, my doctor had her nurse-practitioner delivery the message, I never got to ask my doctor about the possibility. I HURT!!!
