After a full day of chores and appointments, Barrie and I finally met up with my dad and his caregiver in Moms room in Orange Park Medical Center around 5:30 this evening. Mom had had an MRI during the afternoon, for which results are still pending. The big question: why so much weight loss? (15 lbs in a week; shes down to 89 lbs.) A high-calorie diet has been ordered; but, the whole time we were with her, she complained mightily about the quantity and frequency of food shes being given. Dad is trying to be firm with her.
