After a remarkably well-tolerated week on 24 hour a day chemo, things finally caught up with my Daddy today. Yesterday he began to not feel as perky, and they are testing for a UTI or bladder infection, or an infection of some kind (which would not be unusual for someone whos neutropenic -- severely low WBC). Then today, he almost passed out on the way back to his bed (again, not unusual for someone at this phase of treatment). We know these things are almost to be expected, but it doesnt make it any easier to watch. Please continue prayers for his remission, and prayers for all of us to get through these days! Thank you.
