After a tough day, I was able to reflect on how blessed I am for my Tucson friends and family. In the last week, I have been looked after in many ways. To Sherri, who has been my 911..on call math tutor, pinochle game partner and friend who has supported me in so many countless ways. Robin & Meghan who have prayed for me and allowed me to share my struggles & given me advice over IMs or email. To Mike, who took time to check out my roof in detail and relieve my fears about what state it is in. To Bill, who has taken care of my car in so many ways..the list is long and lets say a lot of time he gave appreciated its value more than I did. To Jason, who has rescued me and my car plenty of times from being stranded..Christmas Eve..hatchback release hanging from my car not allowing me to drive..Tonight, stuck on the south side of town at dusk with a dead car battery..not only jumped it but spent the rest of the night helping me find a battery and install it. I love it that when he does rescue me, he does it with a smile and a sense of humor that makes me laugh. To Peggy, who had just renewed my Costco membership which allowed me to buy a battery at a good deal. Thanks! You have made my last couple of crazy weeks easier to handle!
