After being a brat to me all day yesterday Tristan surprised me as I was folding laundry in the living room. Tristan: Momma, come look! Me: grumble, grumble Im trying to fold the laundry, can I look after Im done? Tristan: Just come look! Me: sigh Fine, Ill stop what Im doing and come look. I get up from sitting on the floor and Tristan meets me at his bedroom doorway blocking it with arms extended out and feet spread to the sides of the door jam. As I get closer he starts his excited dance that he does in place. Tristan: Look Momma! I cleaned my room! What do you think? In shock that he took it upon himself to clean his room I look around in disbelief. Me: Wow! I think you did a great job! Thank you for cleaning your room, Im so proud of you!...What made you decide to clean your room without me telling you to do it? Tristan: My brain.
