After having some questions raised by some in my family. I have to say we should not as Christians support the ice bucket challenges or ALS in its present form. I still believe we should be aware of those who suffer from this awful disease and pray for Gods healing if it be His will. But we cannot support any research or donate its research when it is taking innocent lives. Yes thats right ALS apparently has supported embryonic stem cell research for some time. With the recent increase in donations from ice bucket challenge all signs point to the fact they will invest even more now. Simply put they will take the lives of innocent unborn babies in hopes of saving another life. We have to stand firm for the life of that unborn child who cannot protect his or her self. So I have a new challenge. I will call it the ALS Association Awareness Challenge. Forward this post to as many people as you can. Let our voices be heard that we will not support the killing of innocent babies. I am certain other research methods are available instead if this barbaric practice. Dont believe me research it for yourself. We will continue to love and care for those with ALS. We will not abandon them like those who abandon these babies by aborting. We will show by our love that ALL LIFE is created by God and is EQUALLY IMPORTANT! To God be the Glory.
