After last week’s preview every movie would have been an improvement. So I expected a lot from the new movie from and with Robert Redford: THE COMPANY YOU KEEP. The film tells the story of a group of activists who were active in the 70th. After a robbery ends with the killing of a guard they went into hiding. But after 40 years one of them gets caught and that brings a lot of trouble into their normal lives. When a young reporter (Shia LaBeouf) starts to reveal their secrets they have to decide what to do. Unfortunately even a lot of good actors (et al. Susan Sarandon, Nick Nolte, Stanley Tucci, Anna Kendrick, Sam Elliott) didn’t male this movie a really good one. With over 2 hours the movie is simply a little bit too long but still it’s no waste of time. I rate it 6 out of 10.
