After making a post complaining that the scholars are silent - TopicsExpress

After making a post complaining that the scholars are silent instead of saying people should not enter or leave Lagos because of Ebola in line with the sharia, I saw a brothers post saying the following: _____________________________________ Abu AbdilBarr Aderojusola The scholars are silent, hence you took it upon yourselves to start giving fatawa on facebook. Now doctors are on strike and ebola is waxing stronger, why not take it upon yourselves to start attending to patients, or take a trip to liberia and serria leone to tackle the problem _____________________________________ Now I dont know and I dont care if this was in response to my post but IT IS ON POINT and I love it Islam has regulations for everything and people in charge of explaining these regulations to us and we must not take up their responsibilities if we will not take up the responsibilities of Doctors This is another pointer to the need for respect of the scholar. Although in the case I raised some brothers have said the scholars actually say people should not leave or enter but the point still remain that you do not take to facebook and blame the scholars for their actions or inactions while you do not qualify to be their student Knowledge is gotten from sincerity, discipline, exhaustion, patiences and other bitter pills. Do not remove from the honour of the scholars with a leisure like facebook May Allah forgive us and grant us the correct understanding of the religion and its applications!
