After our Ground Handling in Cebu lately with Mr. Gene, our sister company’s Chief Dispatch, he invited us for a dinner. It was a lovely evening, for the weather that night was simply fine. The occasion had been a perfect timing to celebrate, for our round trip Ground Handling that day was successful. It also happened that my officemate in accounting department in Manila was there for an official business. Therefore, we went out as one group together with our supervisor in Cebu branch being our tour guide. And because we had no idea on where to indulge our dinner, our tour guide introduced us to this restaurant. This restaurant was an open house building made of Coconut trees and Nipa hut. It was fresh inside and there’s no need of air condition. The restaurant was called ‘AA BBQ.’ The aforesaid has been known for its best pork barbecue, grilled seafood and chicken dishes. Moreover, the restaurant has its style of letting the clients pick their food choices at the counter area, just beside the main entrance, before the clients can go and wait for their food to be served inside. Those foods were all displayed raw, others were well marinated ready to be grilled; and all you have to do then is to let the service crew be informed on how your chosen raw foods be cooked. What a coincidence, for the crews that we handled were also dining inside after they left the aircraft. The evening had been lovelier, for were like one big family inside exchanging jokes and cordial messages together. It was fun and I enjoyed being with them.
