After spending part of the morning in criminal court and seeing some of the challenges with which people were dealing there, had some time to reflect on last night. Not sure if I should laugh or cry that our youngest daughter used her cell phone to call from her bedroom on the third level of our home to her mother on her cell phone on the second level of our home to tell mum she was ready to be tucked in. Laughing and crying now. Life and technology are moving way too quickly. And the day will come even more quickly when no children here need to be tucked in at night. It was literally and figuratively a good night on No Name Island.
