After taking an initiation in the Chod rituals, it is very complex - TopicsExpress

After taking an initiation in the Chod rituals, it is very complex yogically indeed. I just wish the San Diego Drigung center was not so elaborate, and politically complex. Why do they take your money, and you do nothing but practice, and then told you are not welcome at their center anymore, after the teachings.by their head Ani La. Why? His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama is my root teacher, and I would think they would welcome me, and have a picture of His Holiness the Drigung Kabgon would be on their throne, but instead they have Dalai Lama. That is fine with me, but it puts the Drigung Kabgon in second place in their agenda. Their monastery is like Sukhavati paradise, with so many lovely flowers and fruit trees. A beautiful facility, but why are other lineages not welcome at their mandala. Why do they fear me and others? What is there to hide? I paid for the teachings. I am puzzled by this attitude of paranoia. Yes I am critical of the corruption or eltism of rich monastic facilities, especially when the persons in charge are so rude to others in the dharma. They were upset that I am critical of their actions, well it is quite part of the American way to investigate an organization for this kind of behavior of a non profit organization. Other centers can not make it financially here in America now, mainly they are having issues with programming the public about their compassion for the general public. The same is true of this Penpal situation. I sent funds to Saravasthi organization. I was not able to receive the teachings through the organization, and ended up with a lost of fifty dollars and no downloaded teachings. I feel really ripped off from what happen just trying to get some teachings. Why are these Tibetan run organizations filled with such paranoia, political back stabbing, and we the public are not allow to say anything. I suppose it is not just the Tibetan run non profit, but other religions as well. I deserve an apology and not a rube slap in the face of just coming to the teachings, and paying. Obviously they have only respect for their lineage and not other dharma teachers of worth. It seems I am not welcome at their centers, which is hard to believe because I am not of their lineage any longer. It is still Buddhism, and teaching. What to do about paying for teachings and never receiving them online, is another complaint I have. Why do these Tibetan centers feel that we westerners have no right to teach the dharma, and are called Mara devils. It seems we all have a long way to go to accept what it means to be a Vajrayana Buddhist today here in the West. Something needs to surface about the inner workings of this San Diego center, which again has caused me to be suspicious of the intentions of such an elaborate center. Such paranoia, it is very twisted mentally. I had wonderful teachers of the Drigung, and why their negative behavior towards me as a Tantrayanist is so puzzling. Something is wrong there that needs fixing. Not my concern any longer. No wonder His Holiness Kabgon is ill, it gave me a headache just to go to the teachings.
