After the Huskers end of the game win yesterday, reminded me of one of the Husker football games I went to with my brother. It was raining, we were playing Ohio State October 8, 2011, wearing the new husker rain ponchos I got for the game. Paul got us tickets from his boss Jay Hesse (RIP) we were sitting in the north end zone in the front section in the first 15 rows(2nd half that was Nebraskas scoring end zone). To remind everyone by the 1/2 the score was Ohio 20-Nebraska 6 and Paul was in a foul mood and I said to him dont worry they are going to win. He said to me are you watching the same game Im watching. by the end of the 3rd quarter Nebraska had scored 14 points and Paul was getting in a better mood. Rain was really coming down and people had started to leave. Then Rex Burkhead scored twice in the forth quarter for the win. 28 points scored right in front of us. Paul was so excited. At the end of the game I said to Paul told you they would win. He looked at me, smiled and said yeah Jo you never give up. Miss and love you little brother.
