Alis dyan! Some passengers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 were not spared from this weekends floods as they were inconvenienced by a flood caused by a water pipe leak. The leak affected passengers at gates 133 and 134 of NAIA-3, radio dzBBs Nimfa Ravelo reported. The Manila International Airport Authority has apologized for the inconvenience, the report said. Saturdays incident came amid efforts by the MIAA to repair NAIAs facilities. Last July, the NAIA Terminal 1, already suffering from a bad reputation as one of the worlds worst airports, literally stank after a septic tank there overflowed. The foul-smelling incident caused a minor flood at NAIA-1s departure area. Last April, President Benigno Aquino III himself apologized for the air-conditioning problem at NAIA-1, blaming the matter on the governments procurement system. — Joel Locsin/VC, GMA News
