After thought, making the conscience decision to (unfortunately) leave the group. Why not just leave silently? Im hoping even ONE person reflects on what I say following and does not treat other ex patriots the same way. My last effort to conform to Oakville, today I post a STUNNING picture of natures true beauty, grant it, not of Oakville, but of where I live now. I (naively) thought, Well I lived in Oakville for 30+ years so surely I can post a picture, so beautiful, not specifically of Oakville, as many others have over the time I have been in this group. Never mind no comment. Not even a single like? How is it possible that not one person in this group doesnt like such spectacular beauty? It Is very disappointing that a person that has this much history with said town, from public school, to high school, to college and yet because Oakville is no longer the primary residence, is not worthy of contribution to this group. I am conservative and yet the one word that is in the forefront of my mind, is elitist. I grew up on the East side and was comfortably popular in high school so believe me, I know a clique when Im in the middle of one or should I say on the outside of one. So before the knee-jerk replies fly. Just reflect.
