After trying to pull up and turn on the road to go up to the cabin, we were stopped by a police barricade telling us we could not go up. They said is would probably be a good hour and we could either wait in the near by church parking lot or go back into pigeon forge and kill time. After killing 30 mins going to get gas in pigeon forge we made our way back to our cabin check in center and spent a lovely hour and half looking at attraction brochures and sipping on so nice cold filtered water and eating peppermints. After being told we may have to stay in another cabin for the night without being able to go get any of our stuff, we were told everything was clear and we could go back!! We love honeymoon surprises. Everyone has a story and we are in the process of writing ours! :-) Josh Martin
