Aga Khan University, Pakistan Office of the Registrar Supervisor for Female Hostel Introduction Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Supervisor for Female Hostel. Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible to supervise overall activities of the hostel, which includes the following activities: maintain a very close liaison and coordination with housekeeping, maintenance, security, horticulture and other concerned departments to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, health, maintenance, safety and security and overall ambience of the hostel premises take care of female students residing in the female hostel and resolve their day-to-day issues maintain an academically conducive, socially healthy and disciplined hostel environment keep record of daily activities and events, as well as any incident in the hostel or complaints made by students or staff, and follow up with the relevant department for corrective measures maintain records of hostel occupancy and ensure that the financial statements, occupancy status and the rent due from the hostellites are prepared on time and submitted to Finance organize and supervise social events within hostel premises involving student participants assist Manager, University Residences in looking after the hostel. Requirements Candidates should have: minimum Intermediate qualification, Graduate will be preferred minimum five years of related administrative experience in the hospitality industry or in managing hostels or in an academic institution strong cultural diversity awareness and ability to communicate with students from a wide range of backgrounds good administrative and organizational skills and ability to resolve administrative problems ability to handle shift work and perform extra duties as and when required.
