Mr. OMally has brought our state to the point of a militarized police status! police all over the state are out of control, particularly in Baltimore City. in July, 2012 Maj. Neill Franklin, Mr. Ronald M. Owens-Bey and myself testified before the City Council public safety committee and its Chairman Warren Branch of the 13th Councilmatic district to urge them to pass legislation to prohibit racial profiling and Stop & Frisk here in the municipality of Baltimore City. We were unsuccessful in that attempt and it is obvious that the state legislature in not interested in the plight of the masses at the hands of these rogue officers that violate the human and civil rights of their constituents. We continue to fight for this law vigorously and we will not relent! people have died and will continue to be threatened with death when officers act as GANGS and jump out on citizens that are driving, walking and standing! IF you break the law then as I always say you should wear a shirt that reads Im stupid and I want to go to jail however LAW ABIDING CITIZENS must be respected! if youre caught speeding then write a ticket! police have no right to drag you out of your car and gang tackle you to the ground and beat you senseless! THEREFORE my question to Mr. Brown and Mr. Hogan is......Will you as you seek the highest office in the state and the votes of all Marylanders promise as your first official act in office to write an executive order to end these draconian behaviors called racial profiling and stop and frisk? it is clear to us that the Mayor, the city council and the current commissioner are only concerned with casinos and curfews! My vote depends on your answer to this pressing interrogative and I believe that I am not alone! As I said in the last post I present the video evidence of out efforts and I implore you to watch and see what we did in 2012! youtu.be/67izaRr91Zw youtu.be/NUPOEvhA2nQ
