Visit our career site on the web at https://dp-dhl.jobpartners/jpapps/jobworld Scope: The Air Import and Best Practice Manual outline the expectations, requirements and standards of each Air Import Break Bulk Operation. The duties of the Air Import Break Bulk Agent include but are not limited to: Read SOP’s & know customer requirements. Agents must know and understand the Air Import Best Practice requirements and ensure they are compliant. Provide staff training and development. Ensure production and quality standards are known by the staff and are met or exceeded. Maximize employee productivity through proficiently cross training. Provide “hands on” to resolve escalated customers concerns and service issues. Ensure recovery manifest and transfers are action, freight picked up, broken down and available for the customer within 24 hours of flight arrival. (Using MGMS search function under Break Bulk available for pick up) Ensure discrepancy report is prepared for all damaged and lost freight and forward to Supervisors and Scott Williams. Send AQM’s, check shortage book in AMS and update HAWB remarks. Ensure shortage report is monitored/check AMS blue book. Expedite work flow by ensuring that folders are prepared in priority order. Preparation steps: Dispo/BBA/Splitting. Ensure all folders are BBA/Dispo’d same as folder is dated. Ensure all folders/files are split same day as documents are received. Monitor Original document recovery. Ensure all documents waiting for document folders are reviewed on a daily basis. If shipments are already cleared and delivered, print HAWB’s and have splitting completed. We should not have any folders awaiting original documents that are more than 3 days old. Follow up on AQM report to ensure compliance on each shift . Ensure that we meet the AQM Response and AQM Closure KPI’s. Ensure breakdown and Pulley sheets are created for those key account customers: Dell, Apple, Caterpillar, etc. Monitor blue book in dispatch to ensure all freight is picked up. Monitor/trace delivery orders and releases from freight not back bin Monitor the grey invoicing slots to ensure invoices are mailed weekly. Monitor filing of MAWB’s Ensure that all agents understand the PHARMA account requirements and what our agent, Joe Dinatale does daily. Ensure that all PHARMA documentation is filed away in the MB folder timely eliminating piles of documents in PHARMA. Ensure custrmks are updated when needed & have the most current info. Ensure that all agents know how to request an account number, update custrmks and request ACE charge profile updates. Ensure that all agents understand and are trained to reconcile the PLOG on each shift. Ensure that all agents understand and are trained how to create a CCA. Ensure agent’s desk is organized Ensure POD entry compliance Ensure all agents are trained on the G.O. Process. Ensure compliance with G.O process Monitor the correct and timely preparation of transfers Review and action ORD Inventory on each shift. Notify CHB as needed. Match permits to recovery manifests and files daily. We should not have a backlog in this area.. Ensure all agents understand meet or exceed local Initiatives and KPI’s Timely communication in email. Assist other departments (CSSV, Warehouse, Dispatch Discharge System, and Traffic). Ensure freight is set up on trucks on timely basis (Traffic and Dispatch). Ensure that employees are aware of attendance & tardy policy related to punching a time clock each day. Ensure that all vacation requests are given to Kenny Funamura for approval.
