Akdong Musician’s “Time and Leaves” Sweeps 9 Music Charts Immediately after Release Akdong Musician released their new track, “Time and Leaves,” at midnight on October 10. By 6 a.m., the song topped multiple charts, including Melon, Mnet, Genie, Olleh Music, Naver Music, Daum Music, Soribada, Bugs, and Monkey 3. Within just six hours of the release, Akdong Musician made an “all kill” in the music industry. Consequently, Kim Dong Ryul’s “That’s Me” got knocked down to second place. “Time and Leaves” is a track that was omitted from their debut album, “Play,” which was released this past April. It was not released because they wanted to release it in the fall, when they thought the track would be most fitting. Just like their entire debut album, the track was written and composed by older brother Lee Chan Hyuk, featuring a smooth string section and piano. In other news, Akdong Musician will go on a national tour starting this coming November 21 in Seoul.
