Al Sharpton: Murder Wasn’t Racially Motivated; “Nothing to - TopicsExpress

Al Sharpton: Murder Wasn’t Racially Motivated; “Nothing to Protest” (What an unmitigated racist fool!) my comment Philip Hodges Al Sharpton’s weighed in on the senseless killing of Australian baseball player Chris Lane. He said there’s no reason for conservatives to be up in arms over the slaying, because “the system worked.” And besides, there’s nothing to protest since the killing obviously wasn’t racially motivated: “That doesn’t stop my friends over at Fox and Donald Trump and others saying, ‘Why isn’t Al Sharpton protesting this?’ I protest when I’m called in and when there’s an injustice. The three were arrested, there was nothing to protest, the system worked there. And racial? Not only did the police not say it was racial, one of the three were [sic] white.” Regarding the skin colors of the thugs, looking at the mug shots gives us a pretty even spectrum of color from dark to light. James Edwards was the darkest, Michael Jones was the lightest, and Chancey Luna was right in the middle. By now, we know that Chancey was certainly of mixed race, since his mom is white, and his dad is black. People are saying (like Al above) that Jones is a white guy. But when you look at his mug shot, he looks like he also is of mixed race. Not that it really makes that much of a difference. Just saying. And if Luna and Jones are both of mixed race, that means that both of them are as black as Obama. I don’t know if the killing was racially motivated or not. I can’t read the hearts and minds of the assailants. And frankly, I don’t really care, except that the national media and political establishment love to fixate on non-black-on-black violence and completely ignore other combinations where the attackers are black, in a rather failed attempt to portray all whites as “racist.” They went way out on a limb to turn Zimmerman into a white supremacist Nazi in the complete absence of evidence, and yet they turn a blind eye toward cases like Chris Lane or the more recent case of a World War II vet being beaten to death with flashlights. They claim that those are mere random acts of violence and have nothing to do with race, in spite of there being evidence. Well, if they care to know, there actually is evidence in the Chris Lane case of racism in the form of tweets, videos, and Facebook pictures and postings. It’s clear that at least one of the “bored” shooters didn’t like white people. So, was their attack still “random” and non-race-related? At what point does a black-on-white crime become racially motivated? Does the attacker have to have a signed and notarized document stating unequivocally that the “crime I am about to commit against said white person is being done in the name of black racism. I hate white people, and I believe blacks are superior to whites.” I’m sure that wouldn’t be enough, because the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons would claim the document was forged. If the national media wants to keep its faithful viewers informed, and if it’s going to give wall-to-wall coverage of a local story like Zimmerman and Martin, then they should give all such cases equal coverage, and then let their viewers decide.
