Alan lost the last two presidential primaries to the most popular - TopicsExpress

Alan lost the last two presidential primaries to the most popular candidate in the NPP at the moment, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. His margin of loss has diminished from some 32% in 2007 to 19% in 2010. It is expected that Alan would lose the presidential primaries again and this time his loss would be less than 10%, if we take into consideration the difference between his last two losses. The delegates of the NPP are more discerning than the ordinary Ghanaian voter and they have demonstrated this in recent times by electing the best National Executives to run the Party. For the npp presidential primaries, the Electoral College is wider and seeks to represent a larger proportion of the Ghanaian electorate. Alan does not stand a chance in persuading the Electoral College for the presidential primaries to vote for him as the next presidential candidate. And this will be because Alan has dug a hole so deep and he shows no sign of wanting to get out. He remains a disloyal and not committed to the party. The electoral college are aware of this. I expect him to resign again for a third time and this time he will be gone for good.
