Alaska State Troopers are asking the publics help to bring those responsible for two Valley residential thefts that occurred on Wednesday to justice. The first incident was reported at about 2:07 p.m. August 6 at a home on Lupine Drive in Palmer, where some time that morning someone stole a car jack and snowboard from the property, and while taking the goods, also set about on some vandalism for good measure, breaking out the rear passenger side window of a car parked in the driveway and breaking another snowboard and leaving it behind. The second incident was reported in Wasilla at about 8:30 p.m., where thieves kicked in the front door of a home on Cormorant Way sometime between Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoon. The culprits made off with a Visio television, an Xbox 360, a Toyo stove and a number of DVDs. Anyone with information on either theft or who may have seen suspicious activity that could be related are asked to call troopers at (907) 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers at (907) 745-3333.
