Alaska spirit is broken I think this is worse than a case of abuse for she has had security for 11 years and then it was cruelly snatched away from her. Today is the first day she has allowed me to touch and stroke her face the last two days if you went close to her she would snap and she has bitten me a couple of times once quite badly. I have been sitting quietly by her side not touching no pressure on her and today she held her paw out..... a gesture maybe asking for some comfort. I think we have some work to do with her to gain her trust she is just not engaging with us or the dogs and curls up tight in a corner.
