Ale House update: Construction continues on the Ale House as the main bar counter was installed this past week, with some of the cabinetry, baseboard, bar shelving, etc. We will be able to start work on our permanent draft system once the rest of the counters are in. We anticipate that we may have the ceiling up in the tasting room within the next week and with that the three BEAUTIFUL glass roll up doors can be installed - those will really be our party piece! Last weekend we brewed up some more Buford Bottom Hefe and our Irish American Red (we ought to just call it Skips Beer!) and will be making more Rebel Ale and a new Nut Brown recipe in the coming weeks. Nothing new on the Brewers Permit front - I think part of our frustration is that the TTB doesnt seem to understand some fundamental concepts; time for instance...and if you get an email, even if you have nothing new to report, AT LEAST RESPOND! Its crazy that we can respectfully wait over 30 days between inquiries and they cannot even respond? Arrrggghhh!
