Aleah had her hooves trimmed tonight. Weve been bringing her feet back to health since we brought her home. Before she arrived here, she foundered severely and had complications in her hoof growth and hoof wear. Tonight the barn smells of burned hoof, a strong stench that stays with you, from using an angle grinder on the excess hoof wall. After nipping and rasping, her hooves are looking much better. We cant wait to see how she comes around by next year.
