All, It was a pleasure speaking with each of you tonight on the conference call, we tied up several loose ends regarding our role for Bruce’s services this coming weekend. The following classmates were in attendance on the call: Kim Booker, Vanessa Youngblood, Cheryl Sudds, Trenna Mitchell, Kirby Campbell, Stafford Edwards, Edna Stevenson, Kent Whitaker, Byron Hewitt, and Lisa Moore. For those of you who weren’t able to call in, the following items was discussed and confirmed: Vanessa purchased a plaque from the class and the primary presenter of the plaque will be Lopez and Roland will be secondary. Roland has prepared (288) blue ribbons for the services. Class of 85 and family will be given ribbons first and then the rest of the ribbons will be given to the ushers for disbursement to the rest of the audience. It was decided that the class will purchase a floral arrangement on a stand from (Chasity) not to exceed $65.00 The group was in agreement to purchase 200 pieces of chicken for $200.00 from Brookshires, Rose Ford whose catering the event will pick up the chicken prior to the repast. The total predicted budget for the services total: $295.00 + Taxes. This includes: Plaque $30.00, Flower $65.00, Food $200.00. We are asking each class member to contribute $20 each. If you plan to attend the services please bring your donation with you and see Roland Wilson prior to the services. If you are not going to be able to attend please drop your donations off to Edna Shannon-Stevenson, call and make arrangements with her at 318 453 1602. Once we have accommodated our expenses, all money left over will be placed in a card and given to Bruce’s wife. You will receive a full report of all monies disbursed.
