HMRC Presents: Scanning and Oral History Day A major focus of the Houston Metropolitan Research Center (HMRC) is to document the history of Houston’s Hispanic community. We invite you to contribute to our holdings and to share your valuable and interesting pieces of history such as family photos or documents. We will make copies of all materials. We also want to hear first-hand experiences from Houstonians that will show future generations what Houston was like for the Hispanic community. We will record these interviews and add them to our Oral History Collection. Appointments are required to participate in this event.
