All intetested in politics, here are your lessons in Indian politics:: Protagonist::Narendra Modi wins election. He is a bold.confident person interested in governance and development. Costar::Sangh and affiliates: assisted and supported Modi . Opposition:: mainly the congress but also Janata. Samajwadi, BSP, Communists, Mamta led trinmool. Last but not the least Media or the Fourth estate. So The govt. Under Modi wants to take the country into a differwnt league. But the problem is the opposition has been totally swept in the latest electipns and are fighting for existence. Here comes the great Indian Media which can make black look white and white look black. So it starts projecting conversions on the front page continuosly.. all TV channels cry foul and loud as if half of the population have been reconverted...not a single case was reported when the UPA govt. Was in power. So why so interest. Because it helps creates mis understanding between sangh and Modi. Two the opposition gets some fodder to attack the govt. And the parliament is stalled to demonstraye that the opposition is taking the govt. What the hell..are there no better issues..the govt. Has talked about much more bigger things..has anyone in the oppositn raised these issues in the parliament. Can there be a debate between govt. And opposition so that the whole country can listen to it..no ..no one is interested.because politically such stories does not sell..so who will watch the TV and read newspaper. Therefore the media wants to keep itself in power, raking money thru ads by highlighting useless conversion events while the innocent and helpless public gets doze after doze until it looses consciousness. This is Indian politics my friend...try to go beyond the news and headlines when you read or watch media next time.
