All of us today encounter misery daily This misery robs our freedom Power and rank trample on the poor and impoverished Even at night and when the sun shines, we cannot forget. In solidarity with the monks, affected communities, youth, and activists who have delivered a petition to free the 18 people who are still imprisoned in Prey Sar, Id like to share this song that Tang Keo sang to protest the forced displacement of his village by the powerful sugar cane industry, a displacement that is occurring rapidly all across Cambodia. He wrote it within minutes of his farmland being bulldozed and seized. I still cry when I hear this song because it rings so true. I love Cambodia. We love Cambodia. We must protect our country and our people. #FreeThe18 You can also watch the video here on youtube: https://youtube/watch?v=hfIRQdBVmPw
