All the laws you pass cant stop drunk drivers. Its a waste of time to have drunk driving laws. Its a waste of timeto have sobriety checkpoints. Its a waste of time to have open container rules. Its a waste of time stop people who are suspected of being drunk just because they are weaving erratically on the road. Its a waste of time administer a breathalyzer test. Why do we arrest people just for driving drunk (if they dont hurt anyone). Why take away a persons license if he has multiple drunk driving incidents in which no one is hurt? You cant stop drunk drivers!!!!!!! The best thing we can do is let drunk drivers drink and drive all they want. If they can make it home safely without killing anyone...no harmdone. If they smash their car into a tree, they only have themselves to blame. ButIf they strike someone...maybe your son or your wife... and injure or kill them... THEN you can have the satisfaction of seeing them put them in jail. But for heaven sakes dont waste time trying to PREVENT drunken driving. It wont work. People will drink and drive no matter how many rules you make to try to stop them. Let drunk drivers have the same freedom that a gun owner has...the right to be left alone...until he commits a crime. This guy was driving drunk but he didnt really hurt anyone until the cops stopped him for drunk driving. If they had let him go he would have driven home safely and no one would have gotten killed
